At open moves we provide a specialist 'One Stop Shop' design and adaptation service for both open moves and private customers.
Our aim is to provide a recognised design and build adaptation service for customers with disabilities who wish to improve their quality of life and living conditions within the home they live.
With a history in providing able living services, we can assist you in creating a home which is suitable for your needs. Our service creates bespoke solutions that will allow you to enjoy the freedom of your own home.
We have a wealth of knowledge with home adaptations and have carried out over 3,000 adaptation works to date. Our in house Propertysolutions team provide a reliable, friendly and efficient service, which can be seen on the testimonials area of the site.
why are we offering this service?
We are offering this service in order to allow people to use the knowledge and expertise of Incommunities to adapt or possibly extend their properties so that their properties better cater to their ever changing needs. Our potential customers will include disabled property owners along with those suffering from 'disabilities' (mobility issues, vulnerability, mental disability) that come along with old age who may require home adaptations in order to keep their independence and stay within their home with minimal care for longer.
What can we do for you?
We offer 3 different packages or levels of service:
- package 1 - a simple survey and feasibility assessment which will determine whether the works are suitable
- package 2 - a full survey which includes a working drawing package and planning application
- package 3 - a full survey, drawing package, planning application and build
The work which we carry out includes: access ramping, through floor lifts, wet room installation and bespoke kitchen installation. We can also provide extensions to properties which aid in able living.
what to do next
If the occupational therapist recommends an adaptation, Incommunities will consider installing Items including shower trays, ramps or stair lifts.
